Above are some photos from the "Sonny's West Georgia Rally" that was held Sat., August 26th, 2006 from 4:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. at the Coweta County Fair Grounds, Agricultural Building, Newnan, Georgia, organized by Warren Budd, Chairman of the Coweta County Republican Party. It was a GREAT BBQ and bluegrass festival with a wide variety of supporters, i.e., the biker group is from ABATE Of Georgia, Inc. (American Bikers Active Toward Education) William "Bill" Brake-Assistant State Activities Director. Chuck Dodson-District 6 Chapter 2 Coordinator and Ed Andross-Asst. Legislative Director. The whole group is proud to support Gov. Perdue in his reelection bid and they were a great group to talk with.
I also have a picture of Glenn Dowling-Executive Vice President, Georgia Wildlife Federation in front of his literature table with me, an assistant (woman), and Brett Brown (who's running for State Labor Commissioner and is behind the Georgia Constitutional Amendment #2 on the Nov. 7th ballot "Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended so as to provide that the tradition of fishing and hunting and the taking of fish and wildlife shall be preserved for the people and shall be managed by law and regulation for the public good?" I've got Barbara Scruggs at her info table with Francis and friend. Several of Gov. Perdue and Ms. Mary, several group shots of the volunteers with the Gov. in front of his campaign bus., a very good picture of Emma Hinesley with Gov. Perdue's arm around her.Debra Jo Steele
