1st District Director, introduces State Representative Tommie Williams, Senate Majority Leader, who delivers good news from the Gold Dome where Republicans hold
a strong majority.Gussie Johnson Gammon, GFRW 3rd VP, introduces former Senator Mack Mattingly who is Chairman of the Ports Authority. He reminded up that our current Republican move-ment started in 1963 with Barry Goldwater.

Georgia Federation of Republican Women Fall Board of Directors Meeting -- Dinner 7 p.m. in Conference Center
Keynote speaker: Sandra Froman, National Rifle Association PresidentTopic: “Why the Second Amendment Keeps America Free”
Sandy Froman is President of the National Rifle Association of America and only the second woman elected to that office in the NRA’s 135-year history. She chairs NRA’s Executive, Legislative Policy and Grassroots Development Committees. Froman is a civil trial attorney, with an A.B. degree in economics with honors from Stanford University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. Froman’s agenda as NRA president includes working for the appointment of federal judges who will interpret the Second Amendment, along with the whole of the Constitution, in accordance with its original meaning so as to guarantee to individual American citizens the right to keep and bear their private arms.
