NOTE: Only presidents have a proxy vote. There is no other provision for proxy voting in the GFRW By-Laws for either Executive Committee members or District Directors.
GFRW By-Laws
Article V, Section 1 (b) Proxy Voting
“The president of a local club may appoint a member of the Executive Committee of her organization as her proxy, with full voting power or a member of the Board of Directors. Blanks for proxies are to be provided by the Board of Directors.”
In the absence of a chairman of a Standing Committee then the vice-chairman shall have the same privileges as the Standing Committee chairman at a GFRW Board of Directors meeting. Special Committee chairman and vice-chairman do not have a vote.
